UPDATE: Avatars are completely functional! I just uploaded this big JPG screenshot and it sized quite nicely to what you see to the left.

Caveat: GIF images don't resize. I'll get a workaround for this next update

If you're serving on a Mac you can call Applescript Image Events from php, or just use sips, and the gifs should resize like they're your . . .
