HA! I paid $20 for a a GE stereo-speaker system about 6 months ago. It has a single tweeter (AFAIK) in each stereo. Last week, the right speaker died, so now I hear everything in left-channel, pseudo-mono.

Don't buy cheap. They're not even GE, even. It's licensed from another company, and GE just puts their logo on.

These replaced my shweet Altec-Lansing speakers, which served me well and had superb sound. Then something went wrong with the power adapter, so.....

Now I shall be getting a third set of speakers some time.

I want to get some of those Harmon-Kardon speakers that Apple had around 2000-2002.

Hmm, did I already post here? Oh well...

My setup depends around the house.

If I'm on my laptop, its a PowerBook G4 'Gigabit Ethernet' 550MHz, 512 MB RAM, 16 MB graphics, and a 40-gig HD.

At work, it's a PowerMac G5 (one of the last before the Intels) with a beautiful refurbished 30" Dell flat panel monitor (cheaped out from the Apple one; it's $1000 more and doesn't have a card reader in it). It also has a stereo system hooked up to it so I can listen to the radio while I work.

At home I really wish I had one of those new iMacs. Instead I have a computer I built myself, a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 200 GB HD (love number two, apparently [no, not that #2]), 256 MB ATI Radeon X1550 graphics, but unfortunatly is running Windows Vista Home Premium x64. (blecch.) Or I just use my laptop.

And let's not forget the wonderful Apple II, complete with Kid Pix.

NEW!

I just got a Mac Mini for Christmas.

I have the Apple wireless keyboard as well. It is a 1.83 GHz Core 2 Duo with 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

I also have Tiger 10.4.10 on here.

It came with a Leopord disk. I will upgrade a bit later.

This is my new Christmas present.

I will network it to my older eMac G4 running Panther. I have a router.

I'm keeping my eMac. Runs OS 10.3.9 It's going to be my classic machine until all my programs are OSX native.

eMac G4 @ 700 MHz

384 MB RAM
40 GB Internal HD
CD/RW-R optical drive

I got it in 2002. Nice thing about Macs is they are useful for many more years than PCs.
Mac Mini has a new apple wireless keyboard. It's the AL one. Very thin, yet easy to type on once I got used to the feel. Tiger is installed now. I also have yet to install Leopard. I have the DVD upgrade that came in the box.
Oh yeah. The HD is 80 Gigs. Forgot to mention that.

I used to have two desks and kept my G4 running right beside my Windows box but now I lost one of my desks and the G4 doesn't have a home :(

I need to get it put back together in another room maybe? Or maybe just on the other side of my lone desk.

Or maybe I'll plug in my 6500. Who knows?

Okay! G4 running again! It's a 450MHz Sawtooth with 1.25GB of RAM, two 120GB hard disks, a CD/DVD combo disk and a Radeon 8500 video card.

10.4.11 and 9.2.2. I still use 9.2.2 on its own quite often, as it's my favorite OS ever of all time, but 10.4 is what I use most. My classic apps get used usually in Classic mode.
