What is the Virtual Shop? The Virtual Shop is a way to spend the @pples you gain while living in Mac GUI City. These items you buy are not real; you cannot take them with you. You may also conduct trades with other citizens as well as open your own shop and sell items to make a profit. Back to top |

How do I trade items with other citizens? You can trade items and @pples with other citizens. First navigate to the user's profile and click the blue Trade link. You will be taken to a screen which will allow you to set what you request and what you will give. It helps to plan all this out before-hand by sending messages to each other via the PM system. Once you have started the trade, the recipient must accept and approve the trade. If he does not approve the trade, he will make changes or cancel. The trade is then sent back to you and is finally completed when bother users agree and approve the trade. Back to top |

A user-run shop is selling items for more than the official price! Perfectly acceptable. Make sure you check the "official" Mac GUI City Virtual Shop prices before you buy an item in a user-run store. The point of these stores is to make a profit for the owner as well as buy items for lower prices, but you must always be cautious. No one is obligated to refund you if you buy an item for more than it is worth. Back to top |

Can I sell items back to the store? No. The only way to get rid of items is to either trade them away or sell them in your own store. Back to top |
 |
Can I donate @pples or items to others? Yes. Simply set up a trade where you give the items and/or @pples and receive nothing in return. Back to top |

Are these items real? Instead of explaining this, I will simply provide you an excerpt of a real forum conversation on this which happened a few months back:
heavymetal4god- I mean like, none of the stuff in the store is real, such as being shipped to my house and being a real mac?
Dog Cow- You can't take it with you. It has to stay here.
heavymetal4god- Is it usable as a normal mac would be?
Dog Cow- The screen is very small.
